How Much Does a Construction Estimate Cost?
Our fee depends on the work involved in preparing your estimate — the size and complexity of the project, the number of trades or divisions, the quality of the drawings, the level of detail required and the turnaround time. It does not depend on the value of your construction project.
Because every project is different, we don’t publish a one-size-fits-all price list. Instead, we review your plans and send a fixed quote, usually within one business day. You know the exact fee and delivery date before you decide.
For contractors who bid regularly, monthly estimating support provides dedicated capacity at a predictable cost. Ask us about it when you request a quote.

What Affects the Cost of an Estimate?
| Factor | Why it matters | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Project size | Larger projects have more quantities to measure and price. | Square footage, number of buildings or units |
| Number of trades | Each trade or division adds takeoff and pricing time. | Single trade vs. full CSI estimate |
| Complexity | Complex designs, renovations and specialty systems take longer. | Healthcare, labs, historic rehab |
| Drawing quality | Incomplete or unclear drawings require more assumptions and review. | Scans, missing scales, conflicts |
| Level of detail | Conceptual estimates take less time than detailed bid estimates. | AACE class required |
| Turnaround | Rush deadlines may require additional resources. | Bid dates within 24 hours |
